The first film trailer I looked at was 'The Fault in our Stars' based on the novel by John Green
The plot is as follows, two teenage cancer patients, Hazel and Gus, meet and fall in love at a support group.
They both share the same acerbic wit and a love of books, especially Grace's touchstone, "An Imperial Affliction" by Peter Van Houten. When Gus scores an invitation to meet the reclusive author, he and Hazel embark on the adventure of their brief lives.
The film was also a blockbuster, becoming number one at the box office during its opening weekend and grossed over US$307 million worldwide against its budget of $12 million. The film deemed to be popular within less than 24 hours of the trailer release gaining over 3 million views, 15 million in a week. This was released on January 29th 2014 and 3 months later an extended trailer was released in preparation for it's release in May. The film released was in the UK on the 19th June 2014. The film won numerous awards, including the MTV Movie Awards, winning Movie of the Year.
